How It Works

Four interest-free payments — Pay in 4

  1. 1Add products to your cart and proceed to checkout as normal.
  2. 2Select PayPal, then choose Pay Later when the PayPal window opens.
  3. 3PayPal runs a soft credit check (no impact to your score) and shows your installment plan.
  4. 4Pay 25% of the total today. We ship your order immediately.
  5. 5PayPal auto-charges the remaining 3 payments every 2 weeks to the card or bank account on file.
  6. 6Track the schedule and payment status in the PayPal app or on paypal.com.

Pay Monthly (larger orders)

For bulk refrigerant orders between $199 and $10,000, PayPal offers 6, 12, or 24-month installment plans at fixed APR rates. Common use cases for Delta customers:

  • → A 40-cylinder R-454B stocking order spread across 12 months
  • → Summer season pre-stocking for a multi-truck service fleet
  • → Mixed-SKU orders for retrofit projects over $2,000

Exact terms, APR, and approval are determined by PayPal at checkout.

Eligibility

Who can use Pay Later?

  • US residents age 18 or older (19 in AL, NE)
  • Active PayPal account in good standing
  • Order total between $30 and $10,000 (Pay in 4)
  • Order total between $199 and $10,000 (Pay Monthly)
  • Approval subject to PayPal's soft credit check and risk review
  • EPA Section 608 certification still required for refrigerant purchases

Important Terms & Disclaimers

Pay Later is a PayPal service, not a Delta Refrigerants service
  • The installment agreement is between you and PayPal, not Delta Refrigerants.
  • Payments, late-payment consequences, credit reporting and dispute handling follow PayPal's Pay Later terms.
  • Delta Refrigerants receives the full order amount from PayPal at time of purchase and is not involved in subsequent installments.
  • Refunds and returns on refrigerant orders follow our standard Shipping & Returns policy; refund flow is routed back through PayPal.
  • Pay in 4 is interest-free; Pay Monthly carries APR disclosed by PayPal before you commit.
  • Availability, caps, and rates can change — PayPal determines the plan you see at checkout based on the order amount and your eligibility.

FAQ

Will using Pay Later affect my credit score?

PayPal performs a soft credit check for Pay in 4, which does not affect your score. Pay Monthly plans may involve a hard inquiry — PayPal discloses this before you commit.

Can I pay off Pay Later early?

Yes. You can make early payments or settle the balance at any time through the PayPal app, with no early-payoff penalty.

What if I miss a payment?

PayPal will attempt to collect from your primary payment method. Policies regarding late fees and credit reporting are defined in PayPal's Pay Later terms. We recommend reviewing them before you commit.

Do business accounts (Net-30) affect Pay Later eligibility?

No, they are independent. If you already have Net-30 terms with Delta, Pay Later is an alternative payment method — choose whichever works better for a specific order.

Does Pay Later work for bulk / contractor orders?

Pay in 4 caps at $10,000, which covers most contractor bulk orders. For larger orders, Pay Monthly or our Net-30 business account is typically the better fit.
